The Experience

First of all, choose a couple of dates that are suitable for you (if your preferred dates are not available, I will work with you to find a date that suits both of our schedules).  To ensure a relaxed and fun session, Floppy Dog Photography only reserves one (sometimes two) sessions per day. This allows Floppy Dog to focus attention on you and your experience. Because booking your date requires Floppy Dog Photography to turn away business for that date, there is a non-refundable 50% deposit, which is deducted from your session fee.

I will send you a contract, property and model release to read and sign, and a questionnaire to fill out so I can learn more about you and your dog(s) - this will be sent via e-mail as a PDF, but I can send you pre-printed versions if you require. The contract and any remaining session fees are due on the day of the session.

The session day arrives! We'll meet and greet - I'll spend some time with your dog(s) so they get used to me and the camera, then it's fun time!

I'll edit, retouch and colour correct the images as necessary and publish them in a proofing gallery. Depending on how busy I am, this can be up to around a week.

We'll then meet in person where we can discuss your order, and I'll help you choose your products, from prints to canvasses and sizes. Once payment for your order has cleared, the products will be sourced from professional labs, and delivered to me where I will inspect it to ensure the order is fulfilled correctly and of suitable quality, it will then be sent on to you via courier or by me in person if you live locally. This can take 2 to 3 weeks from the date your order is placed.
